Dargah Sharif

Dargah Sharif or Ajmer Sharif is one of the most sanctified shrines in the country. Located in the heart of Ajmer, this dargah is venerated by both Muslims and Hindus. Dargah Sharif is the resting place of Khwaja Moin-Ud-Din Chisti. He was a Sufi saint who dedicated his entire life in the service of the poor and the downtrodden.

Ajmer Sharif Dargah is 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from the main central Ajmer Railway station and 500 metres away from the Central Jail and is situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill.

Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra is a mosque in the Ajmer city of Rajasthan, India. It was commissioned by Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak "first Sultan of Delhi", on orders of Muhammad Ghori, in 1192 CE. It was completed in 1199 CE.

This mosque, built from the dismantled remains of temples, is known as Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra possibly from the fact that a fair used to be held here for two and a half days.
